Recently, our company carried out a system renovation and upgrade for the Luyi Yinlong Second Water Supply Plant of China Water Group. Through this renovation and upgrade, the water supply of the plant has become more energy-efficient, efficient, stable, and reliable.
Pre renovation issues
(1) The water supply boosting system, controlled by a constant pressure controller with 1 variable frequency bracket and 4 power frequency, has many hidden dangers.
(2) The deep well water intake system has normal automatic control of the internal water source well, while the control of the external water source well often goes out of control, resulting in frequent overflow or shortage of water in the reservoir.
Develop a plan before renovation
Our company has developed a dedicated renovation plan design based on the issues with the water plant and the on-site investigation by our technical personnel
(1) Based on the scale of water supply and electricity load, design a reasonable distribution layout for equipment in the distribution room, select suitable electrical equipment, draw detailed electrical drawings, ensure the reliability and stability of power and water supply, and comply with electricity standards and water supply needs.
(2) The submersible pump system, combined with our company's software and hardware control solution, can ensure safe and stable data transmission and precise control through the comprehensive control of the PLC control cabinet.
(3) Smoke sensors and temperature and humidity sensors can be installed in the distribution room, water flooding alarm sensors can be installed in the booster pump room, and voice alarms can be installed in the central control room.
Under renovation




Due to the large scope of water supply in this renovation of the water plant, our company has selected the largest and smallest booster pumps in the plant to reduce fluctuations in water supply pressure and shorten the duration of water and power outages during the renovation process. The water supply is regulated through a temporary backup constant pressure control system.
after renovation
(1) On the basis of the original control method, replace the high-performance touch screen constant pressure water supply controller.
(2) The frequency converter is independently controlled and equipped with a soft starter to ensure the normal operation of the constant pressure system of the booster pump.
(3) Adding an electrical parameter monitoring module can better monitor and predict the operation of the water pump.
(4) Update the PLC control system to achieve a maximum of 9 time periods for voltage division. At the same time, the PLC control cabinet can monitor in real time and install an emergency management system to avoid related problems or reduce losses.
